Default lucky day

as some of you know I lost my 66 vert in a nasty divorce. I have moved on and have a 78 that me and new wife are restoring for her.

I was in a body shop talking with owner and looking at a 41 buick they are restoring. Glancing under the hood I noticed the SBC valve covers looked like the ones off of my old car. I called the owner and he told me the story of how he came to own them.

They were in fact off of my old car..SHAZAM

I bought him a set of covers he liked and recovered my lost treasure.

they are for a C2 but the emotional attachment is pretty great since my son and I rebuilt that car and that was our last project together before he left for the Navy.

here they are on the 78

Way to go! Keep digging and you might find your old vette to go along with the covers!
