Default Five minute P02 makeover - what do you think?

Hello all, I came across a set of P02 hubcaps and thought I'd try them out. What do you think? Only took a few minutes to give the car a different look. I imagine they'd look much better with Redline tires against the red paint, but I think that would take lot longer than 5 minutes to switch out.

Before:

After:

And here's a few more just because:

I switched out the hubcaps already as they need a good detailing. What do you all think? Also, I've been off the forums for a while as I've been in San Francisco, and just settled. Anyone recognize the skyline in the background? I moved here two weeks ago. Glad to be back with the Corvette!

I like the before pics. but with that said, I never have been a fan of the P02's.

My 71 had the PO2's when I bought, just finished painting the wheels and going with the rallies, its a personal taste.

Rally wheels look best with RWL tires; P02's look best with thin-line whitewalls or red/gold/blue-line tires. Both look good on C3's.

That's a great looking '72. The torque thrust II's look so much meaner. I'm not sure if I like the P02 look or not on my car just yet. I think I'll just change them out every once in a while for a different look.

With the P02's it looks like you should be wearing a suit & tie while driving it

P02's are more for the "country club" look; rallys are for the "sports car" folks.

For what little effort it takes, that's a nice option for a different look.

I used to call those "stunt" hubcaps. When I was a kid, I had a battery powered toy car that had wheel centers that stuck out so you could lean the car against them and do stunt driving on 2 wheels. The look reminded me of those hubcaps. It's just dumb stuff I remember as a kid.

my 70' coupe came with PO2's, i didn't really care for them, and i changed them out for rallys also..i think they look better with my BFGoodrich Radial T/A's..a little more sporty. Even though the PO2's were optional upgrade, they still look like base hubcaps to me.
