What should I offer???
Yesterday I became aware of a Corvette that has been sitting in a garage collecting dust for some time. I don't know a lot about the car and I haven't seen it yet because I just met the owner and we started talking about Corvettes on our first date. It turns out that she has a '63 split window coupe that she parked and hasn't driven.
So what should I offer? Should I offer to marry her or to buy the '63???
Decisions, decisions!

It would be cheaper in the long run and possibly a lot less headache to just buy the car.

We need much more info on the car to decide on a price. Get pics. Then we can decide if you should plan a wedding. Good luck.

Marry her and you'll get the 63!

That's not the way it works. If you marry her,
she will get whatever vehicles YOU now have! (ask me how I know)

I think pictures and descriptions of both the '63 SW and the woman are in order!
But if you are honestly asking for us to gauge how much you should offer, we really need more information.

I think with this amount of information we can safely narrow the range to somewhere between $3000 and $250,000.

That's it! What's yours is hers, and what's hers is hers. Simple. Still cheaper to just buy the car...

Maybe it's a Frankenstein Corvette. Front half of a CORVair and back half of a cheVETTE with a crack in the rear window. Wait, the crack could be in any window because she didn't say it was a split REAR window.

OK, hypothetically, would I be better off with her or the other woman I have dated off and on who has a C5 and a C6? Both of the Vettes are convertibles.

You might be onto something here. I'm not sure but she may have gotten it in the divorce.

I think I get it! $3000 for a quickie wedding and up to $250,000 including the divorce, but what if I just buy the car?

You guys are slipping ... it took five replies before someone asked for pictures of the woman.

$253,000 unless it includes the knockoffs like Alan mentioned.

You are thinking of Off Topic. It's a rule there.
It's just a suggestion here.
