I have a 1977 Corvette with a L48 motor and an automatic. It has 80,000 miles on it. The performance is ok with a K&N air filter and a 1974 exhaust installed. I like the idea of keeping it stock but can I squeeze more performance from the car as it is?
MelWff is on track. If you want to keep it stock (intake, carb etc.) Get a copy of the tuning papers from Lars here on the forum. He also has some info available for your carb.
Follow his advice, and you'll be pretty amazed at the results.
I can't seem to find Lar's email address. Maybe someone else can post it up here? Lars will send you the papers you need.
