Engine mount heat shields
Hello I would like to know if only 68-69 big block cars had the eng. mount heat shields installed or only cars with A/C ?and did any other year big block cars have them as well? thanks in advance much appreciated.

1968-1969 big blocks had one style of heat shield, 1970-1972 big blocks had another style. The change was probably made when the change to safety style engine mounts was made... It wouldn't surprise me to find the 1970-1972 style on a later build 1969. It was used on the left (driver) side only.
Not sure about the usage in other years, but those I'm sure of.
