My first time at C@C and I absolutely loved it. Oh man, I can wait until next year. I had so much fun looking at all the corvettes, seeing the new C7s, watching the burn out competition, checking out all the vendors, etc etc.
The best part was making new friends. My gf and I saw some people looking at my car on my way back to it at the end of the day, so we started to talk to them. Before you know it, we are eating dinner with them at their steak house reservations, exchanging numbers, and planning to meet up with them the next day.
In the past I always thought that traveling 600 miles to go this event wouldn't be worth it, but now I think it would be. Friday and Saturday were so much fun, that I wished they would have planned more events and fun-filled activities for Sunday. By 11am on Sunday most people are gone and so are the venders.
Hi S,
Yes, Carlisle really is big fun for anyone interested in any year Corvette!
Sorry about your mis-hap. I hope that's repaired soon and you can forget about it.
Regards,
Alan

It is a great event. I've been going since 1985 and it just never gets old. The cars are great but the people are even better. 1,000 mile round trip for me and well worth it
I went Thurs/Fri with my son ... we had a blast ! The people are great, and we enjoy all of the 'sightseeing'. He loves buying stuff in the vendor area, while I love checking out the cars in the fun field. The new C7 blew me away - what an amzing car !
The weather was perfect, lots of beautiful cars. My son and I got there about 9am, Saturday morning and left around 3pm. He was worn out about 11 am and I had to then start pulling him in the wagon. I do not remember there being soo many parts the last time I was there about 4 years ago. We took the parts I got and the wagon back to the car around lunch time, then went back and walked around and checked out all the cars, and enjoyed the scenery. We didnt get to take it all in, but my son was beat.
