Jacking instruction for a 82?
Is there suppose to be decals for the jack instructions under the lid for the 82s? Mine does not have any and when I look for replacement I don't see them for the 82s?? I see them for the other years though..

Yes, there is supposed to be jacking instructions, on the larger right side door, of the 82 rear storage compartment.
The instructions used on 82's, were different than 81 and earlier years. I've never seen the 82 instructions, offered anywhere.
Besides the jacking instructions, your 82 would have also had an instruction label about the aluminum wheels (if your car came with them), and a notice about the fiberglass rear spring (unless the car has Gymkhana suspension). If the car is a Collectors Edition, the aluminum wheel label, would have been replaced by an instruction label, on how to remove the Collector Edition wheel's center cap.
Like the 82 jacking instructions, the aluminum wheel label, fiberglass spring notice label, and the Collector Edition center cap instructions, are not being reproduced either.

We've taken digital pictures of labels (such as the door Certification Label), and re-printed them on label paper with a home printer, so they could be replaced. You could do this with the rear compartment labels, if you can find originals to photograph.

I also have the "wavy" labels....
but not the alum wheel one as well, but mine did come from the factory with the alum wheels as per the factory invoice & sticker...go figure

Try contacting the member in the for sale section with the Collector's Edition that has like zero miles on it. That thing is a time capsule........bound to have perfect stickers in all the right places.
