Good Luck on finding one. Someone broke my 86 hatchwindow outside my townhouse and I was quoted $2400 for the replacement cost with the defroster elements.
I ended up going to a couple of salvage yards and managed to find a used one for $350 that I would work with.
I did not find any luck with some of the vendors, and the glass is not something that is listed.
I would try salvage yards, or google/yahoo search. You might also end up on E-Bay looking for one.
Where can i get a rear window for an 80 vette. with electric defog? I dropped a file on the bastard and it shattered.
Sorry to hear of your misfortune, I sincerely hope you find a good one close to you @ a price you are comfortable with, that being said,,,,,, what type of file was it ? A "Bastard File" ???
Peace,,, moosie
HAHAHAHAHA. Moosie it was A "bastard" file. Only one in the drawer.lololol I feel like such an idiot. Next time the car gets moved right out of the garage. There is a company in Calgary Alberta, 6 hrs away from me that pulled one out of a parts car yesterday for me.
I was prepared to take the hit on my package policy on the car and pay the deductable and get a brand new window. I got two prices, one for $1500.00 and the other for $1000. Some huge descrepency there considering they both come from the same glass suplier.lol Looked a bit and decided this used one is the better way to go.

How difficult was it to remove the trim and reinstall it ? I need to pull mine for the paint job and am having anxiety about damaging it . Your thoughts ? Thanks. mike j.
My buddy Paul has a glass company, he came by and removed it! He has a special tool for it! I had to replace half the Tim clips as they were broken! The trim goes on very easy, just snaps on.
