So a week or two ago, I got the vette stuck in front of the house after backing up and turning. Felt some sort of slippage and marginal clunking and when I went to go forward the car stalled. Tried again, and it stalled. Tried to push it in neutral and it wouldnt move.
I jacked up the rear wheels and every thing seemed normal, so I let the car down and drove it back into the garage and started pulling the rear suspension apart. Ive had another rear for over a year, so I figured this would be a good time to put that in, get some new U-joints, and while Im at it, get my trailing arms re-built.
Here's what today's special looks like... Even got the trailing arm bolts out in one piece, and based on what Ive read of other folk's horror stories, I guess Im pretty lucky.
There are also these other cupped washers...sometimes I work like a madman, so I didnt take notice of where these puppies came from. Anyone know? There are 4 of them.
