Yeah that doesn't look bad for a hurricane car. It actually looks very good. Maybe it won't have the electrical issues. Just be mentally prepared for them.
Beautiful car and city. You'll be cruising by the river in no time!

Keep an eye on the parts forum, I see manuals come up from time to time. The AIM is the biggest thing you need though. I find I use it more than the service manual.

Welcome to the Forum and Congrats on the new C3. It looks like you did well.
Have you got it to start yet? The electricals on these things are old and as stated above with salt water damage it may be worse. Follow the battery cables from the battery to the starter and carefully check the connections for corrosion, clean and grease them. Have you replaced the fuses yet? Do them 1 at a time.
Keep us updated.

I am in total shock ans awe as to the condition of your car, and I can't see for the life of me how in hell it looks THAT GOOD, for having been in salt water, someone really went to great lengths almost immediately....

You need to check for the frame rust and body rust in the kick panels and header lining around windshield up top, and down the center support overhead.....

the frame is most important in area down lo just in front of rear wheels, there is that pocket the trailing arms/suspension fastens in...very rust prone.....

I sending a PM.....

BTW, my family background is Russian on both sides....age near 70 here....

In the words of the car seller was a master with '79 and apparently sank it in the garage because there is no body damage. I'll keep you posted, I'll go tomorrow to try to crank the engine. Checked the suspension of the vehicle and they in perfect condition. New calipers, shock absorbers, springs and levers. After starting the engine frame is waiting for anti-corrosion treatment.
