Rare 1976 Stingray
Went to our local dragbstrip tonight to race my car (got rained out). Someone came up asked if my 76 was a Stingray. I said yes, he informed me there were only about 100 of them built. Said its a rare car and worth a lot of money.
He was a nice guy trying to be complimentary, but only 100 made.
Thinking of taking it to Barret Jackson, Lol. Unless anyone wants to make an offer.

Oh it's a real Stingray, I think, one of only a hundred I've been told.

Randy,
That's a great picture. Thanks for posting it.
Hate we got rained out last night but at least I learned about my rare car.
I'm glad I changed the cross flags to Stingray emblems. That transformed my car into a Stingray drag race car, number 1 of 100 The stingray emblems are lighter and more aerodynamic.

Sweet 76 I hoped you were kidding. You are probably just as surprised to learn that you too have a very rare car.

The guy at the track was close. It's the 'Stringray' model that's very rare. Never ever actually seen in person, only advertised on eBay and Craig's list.

Wow, this was said kind of tongue in cheek like a joke. I didn't realize some people are so sensitive about the subject. If someone thinks their life is going to change because their car is referred to as a Stingray or not, they really need to get a life.
