Xlerator Mufflers - nice!
Hi Guys - I'm so thrilled with the new mufflers I just got on my '81, I wanted to share...
My guy at The Muffler Center recommended these "Magnaflow knock-offs" - (I told him I kinda liked it loud - and was thinking about glasspacks or something)...
WOW do they sound good - especially considering my setup is mostly stock (with Cat delete)
Nice rumble at idle / throaty under load / almost no drone at cruise speed - I never dreamed that a stock setup could sound SO good - I'm LOVING them...

Pretty reasonably priced too I think - he charged me $580 total to install both mufflers and a new Y pipe also...
I wish I could upload a video/sound clip, but alas, I don't have the phone or equipment for this - sorry 'bout that... :P

Congrats. Got Sound!
I run Eckler straight pipes on my 4 speed with crate 350/330 and it sounds fantastic. Hard on the radio, though. But, then, I don't drive Renegade to listen to the radio.
I think I get as many thumbs up for the sound as I get for the looks.
