Ok, need everyone's opinion. I decided to try something to see how it would come out. It will still be a little while yet before I have the time to put them on the car. It's a little different twist on the Edelbrock accessories. What do ya think?

IMNSHO it looks great! And if you like it, run with it. Am planning to do something similar! Good job. Looks nice and clean!

Thanks Circuit Rider. I've just got stationed out on the east coast and had a few days to tinker with the car after it came off the shipping truck. Now to work in a little time for the installation.

I like the orange. I just put a 350ci/290 hp engine in my '76 and I went with the powder coated orange dress up kit. The Chevy orange off the shelf paint for the engine didn't match up with the dress kit, so I had some paint custom made to match the engine up with the dress up kit.

SeventySixer, looks great. I'm a big fan of the Chevy orange. The match up of the paint looks good!

You will be very pleased when you see how the engine bay looks with the polished metal and orange.

I like it too.
I did my valve covers like that on my Camaro to break up all that polished aluminum. Yours turned out better though.

Thanks Rich.
Yes I do get a good reading, and it was nice to have when I started the motor up for the first time after it was built.
