Default starter support bracket?

I replaced my starter tonight and there was not a front starter support bracket. Should there be one for a 82? My AIM shows one but not sure where it bolts to? My page for that is extremely light.

Ironically, we were cleaning off the shelves for the 65 we are restoring.. and I have a used brace with the shield that I found in the mess of parts today.. 12 bucks for both used in great shape... if interested, just call sales on Monday at 812-288-7103.

I have a smaller aftermarket starter, shorter and about 1/2 the weight of the stock unit. Do you sell a brace that may fit? Do I even need one because of the lower weight?

Thanks,

Thanks,
I don't have anything for the aftermarket mini starters... you might check with the company that made the starter and see what they have to offer.
