I can't find any with a search. I'm looking for the retainer that holds the carpet to the back wall in the rear compartment.
Anyone know where I can find one?
Thanks
It seems that the pad under the carpet in the back is too thick. The retainer doesn't seem long enough. I'm having trouble getting it thru the hole far enough to get it to catch on the lip.

Hi Archer,
I had the same trouble and I "thinned out" the pad a little bit about the size of a quarter,

FWIW, I learned a couple tricks when replacing my carpet/plugs that I'll share here:
1. I used a hot soldering iron to "burn" a hole through the carpet instead of cutting it. The iron can be used to make the hole size 'just right" and kinda melts the carpet around the edge so that the fibers don't fray.
2. I made an installation tool from an old awl and a fender washer. Rounded the tip of the awl, then welded (I suppose JB Weld would work too) the washer at the right depth, so that the tip of the awl would elongate the plug enough to allow it to go through the firewall/bulkhead and the washer would "push" on the plug till it secured completely. Warning: you need to be sure that the awl tip to washer dimension isn't so long that it causes the awl to poke through the end of the plug when installing plug.
3. I used some dish soap to lubricate the plugs at install
Worked well for me - no troubles. I hope this helps someone else too...
