Sticky valves
I have a 72 coupe with a slightly modified 350. The engine spit out two pushrods coming back from Effingham. After an engine tear down, the intake valves and ports were covered in a thick, black gunk. I am thinking that one of my intake valves stuck, causing the pushrods to bend. My question is: what would cause this gunk to build up after roughly 7k miles on a rebuilt engine?
