So my wife and I went for a ride to Ocean City tonight for dinner and to ride through town since it is Corvette Weekend to see the cars that came in.
while riding through town I was stopped luckily y a concerned citizen and not the OCPD... I was told that I had a brake light out.
We pulled over and when I step on the brake pedal my light on the drivers side goes out. Passenger side is fine. This is while my headlights are on. Turn off the headlights and step on the brake pedal and both brake lights work.
Sounds like a bad ground, I have seen several of the bulb sockets go bad. The ground connection where the black wire attaches in the socket gets rusty. If that's the case, a new socket is the best solution.
