The show is getting better! I'm a fan of Bill Stevens, he's the best part of Mecum Auctions. This last week the co-host Maria was a no show, Thank God! I hope they send her elsewhere, Stevens doesn't need her. I don't mind the woman on these shows if they contribute ( Overhaulin) but she brings nothing . In fact Vida Gurrera was great on that Lowrider show ! That was a different type more a lifestyle cultural take and it worked. What about all you Corvette guys and girls? What's your take? MHO
I'm enjoying it; I think they have to find their groove, and settle on what kind of segments they'll fit into a 1/2-hour show. The flashback videos from this week were interesting, and I love the collection highlights. It would be more interesting if they didn't slot Maria into the simple ride-along role, which makes her kind of superfluous to what's going on. I would like to see a feature on a restoration, either complete or in-process, and perhaps a tech item or two that isn't a veiled commercial for a sponsor. The show-coverage is nice; perhaps that could be a regular feature? Anyway, it's not an embarrassment, and it's better than no Corvette show on TV...
