Driver side floor Courtesy lamp
when i got my 79 vette a couple weeks ago i could feel something hitting the clutch pedal every time I depressed it so turned out to be the courtesy lamp. It seems to be on a plastic bracket that looks like it should clip in somewhere similar to the passenger side which has an additional metal bracket mounted that provides a spot to clip into. I don't see anything on the driver's side so either there isnt one or it is missing. Can anyone help, a photo would be great?

The location for mounting is on the rear of the dash close to the headlight bypass control. A slot is made into the dash pad. here is a link to a recent thread...
