Detailed interior disassembly pics?
72 coupe but I suppose they are all very similar.
I don't have any pictures of disassembly but will offer some advice.
Carefully mark and bag EVERY fastener as you take the interior apart.
MANY of the fasteners are similar but just slightly different in size, length, head configuration, finish, or type of washer or collet used.
It's very difficult to reassemble successfully if you're not sure what fastener goes where.
Also, be VERY gentile as you take things apart.... the dash pads, gauge bezels, and vinyl covered plastic trim panels are fragile and easy to split or break.
I know of no source of interior installation information better than the Assembly Instruction Manual. (AIM).
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan

Great info, unfortunately my interior has long since been removed and those procedures were not done. This is why I am in need of some pics from someone. I have the manual, but nice color pics can't hurt. I am sure it can be figured out but just trying to save time on putting stuff on then realizing something else had to go first and then taking stuff back apart.
I'll start with the dash sequence...
Shifter console. Difficult because of kick panel vent cables.
E-brake cover.
Upper dash pad. Careful you don't crack it in the middle or on the ends.
Driver's side dash pad. Very difficult because of harness, ductwork, Steering column, speed and tach cables.
Center gauge bezel. Very difficult and VERY fragile. If you use the wrong screw at the top of the wiper switch bezel you'll put a hole in the upper dash pad. Careful!
Passenger's side dash pad.
Interiors not easy under the best of circumstances.
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan
What condition is the dash harness in and is it labeled at all?
What condition are the dash and console vacuum lines in and are they labed at all?
I wouldn't even consider doing it without the AIM to refer to every step of the way.

Thank you for the order on getting started.
