Hi everyone. I have a 1969 435hp Ti Distributor. I am wondering if the black D309R distributor cap is correct?
Thanks

If you are doing NCRS, yes.

Do you have the 1968-69 Technical Information Manual & Judging Guide? http://www.ncrs.org/shop/index.php?m...roducts_id=217

This should provide you with all of the NCRS type information that you need.

Hi Revi,
I have the NCRS manual and it describes the cap as black with raised lettering on top, but the version I have does not provide the part number. Great to get confirmation from the forum site. Many thanks.

I know the D309R began in '69, but was used for many other years with variations. All '69s used the black cap with aluminum contacts, except the L-88, which was brown with copper contacts.
