Who sells the shield that goes over the transmission? Or what's the best product to use in place of?

Not the Foam collar . . . the blanket like shield OVER the transmission. (on a 73)

I was going to ask about the foam piece. Mine is all twisted and jammed up there. What is that used for and is it really needed. Sorry to hijack the thread

It helps keep the heat from running up under the transmission tunnel.
