I am finishing up the restoration of my rear storage compartments and looking for a little help with the correct locations for the various decals on the inside of the doors. I have the AIM but its a little veg and my car did not come with the compartment doors so I have no previous reference. My car is a 71 coupe a photo would be much appreciated.
Thank you
Scott (AKA Roco71)
Hi Roco,
There was also a sticker/label on the center glove box door in 71.
The 'Vehicle Safety Maintenance Schedule'. It's shown in the 71 AIM UPC 0, Sheet B1. Item 5.
Regards,
Alan
Although the locations for the labels are shown in the AIM where Revi's picture shows them, there was a variation in at least one 71.
Hi Revi,
The maintenance label was added to the AIM drawing in July of 1970 but I don't know when they made it to the production line.
Mine is a mid-January 1971 built car.
You may be right!
Regards,
Alan
Thank you both so much for your help. The extra decal I bought in error is not the maintenance as shown in Alan's photo. Hope I can find a reproduction.
