Default Clean up
I am currently working on the brakes on my 79. It will be used for cruise-ins and car shows, it's pretty cruddy in the fender wells and probably underneath. I'm sure a scrub brush, soap and water, will clean up a lot. I have some detailing products in mind but any ideas on what you folk have used would be a big help.

A pressure washer or a small steam cleaner will help clean it up. FWIW: the "crud" you're looking at is almost certainly factory sound deadener undercoating.
