Brake light help Please!!!
I have a 1982, I had it repainted last winter. Before it went in all my lights worked properly. When I got the car back my blinkers no longer worked as designed. I am able to blink "manually", but putting the lever in the blink position only results in a solid light. My flashers work fine so I am not thinking relay. I also notice at night one of the blinker indicators is lit very dim. I have checked and replaced all the bulbs so I am now at a standstill as to what else to do.
A couple weeks ago I was driving at night and someone told me my drivers side brake light was out. I pulled over and it works just fine when my headlights are off. When I put my headlights on the brake light lights as it should but when I step on the brake it goes out, but only on the drivers side, the passenger side works fine.
Yes the bulb is fine and I even changed out the brake light socket and it is still doing the same.
So where do I go from here? I have two different problems but they are so closely related I am thinking that one is causing the other or something like that.
Please if anyone knows anything about either or both of these issues I could sure use some guidance.
Thanks

This was after checking the harness from the rear forward. If I'd started at the front maybe the story would have been different.
