No. There should be no 1754 following the suffix code. The VIN you have posted is for a 75, not a 77. CLA was not available for the 75 model year. It was available for the 77s.
Check the VIN on the driver's windshield post and do not trust the "log book." If you have a 75, it has the wrong engine. If you have a 77, the VIN you posted is incorrect.

Ok so I discarded the information on the logbook and checked the car numbers. The following information is taken from the original sticker which is affixed on the driver side door jam. The chassis number is as follows:
