Default Gasket to replace bladder???

Can I use this gasket from Ecklers to replace the bladder in my 1976 gas tank? I don't want to reuse the bladder gasket and I don't want to use any type of sealer on the inside of the tank. Good idea or bad idea?!

The gasket is for the sending unit, maybe I dont understand your question, but what does that have to do with replacing the complete bladder?

You still need the bladder to provide the nuts inside the tank that the bolts go into. The nuts are integral to the bladder.

So you want to remove the bladder completely. It is amazing to me how G.M. ever got that thing into the tank in the first place. I think the nut holder ring is a removable piece from the bladder. Too dark to go ck. the old one I have. The gasket is what you use when removing the bladder or replacing the tank. mike...
