Body is back on the frame now, but this was what I had a few months ago...

To MIKE80: Interesting headers for your side pipe exhaust (last photo). What are those, where did you purchase them, are they custom made?

Did anyone come across someone who purchased a Collier Technologies stainless steel frame? Or have pictures of the build with this frame?

http://www.colliertechnologies.com/products.html

I'm thinking of buying one for my '82 as the stock one is rotted out in several places due to the salt environment around these parts.

They are Hedman side exhaust headers which I bought and then sent them to Jet-Hot and had them ceramic coated inside and out.

I wonder what the weight difference is between a stock frame and their stainless frame???

Probably not for the LSX but for the SBC & BBC only. All Hedman Vette headers for the factory side exhaust (Hedman calls them "Side Mount") carries part numbers with prefix 682xx.

Hedman's product web page doesn't show any 682xx part numbers but Summit Racing listing here for the Hedman Vette Side Mount Headers: http://tinyurl.com/mwd89lb

I am so jealous! All of these frames/rolling chassis are just spectacular. Someday I will do this...

Saw these today for the LS1: http://www.stainlessworks.net/1963-8...t-headers.html

Not sure if they fit the LSX heads or if the manufacturer might also make them for the LSX. Might be worth an email to them.
