Rolling Chassis Pictures please

I wish I could have acid dipped it. No way to get rust out of the inside without doing that...
I had gloss black so that's just what I went with. Most of the suspension and parts I do in flat.
dusty frame in this pic.

These suspension parts were painted back before I had powdercoating. I'll redue them some day.

(I know..not the safest with the tank that crooked but it worked out okay)

Hey GTs 78,
It looks like we are close to each other and in the same boat; body-off, AP TKO conversion, Borgeson steering, etc.
I noticed that you mounted the tranny directly on the rubber mounts and was wondering if you checked your driveline alignment at that point. A lot of folks with that tranny, me included, have found that we need to use about a 1" spacer at the tranny rear to get the alignment angle correct.
What I noticed is that when the angle is set correctly, the carb pad is just about level and it looks like (from the pic) that your carb is angle towards the rear.
Just trying to save you a vibration later on.
By the way, I'm in Hillsborough, NC. If you want to talk or come by and compare notes, just send me a PM.
Cheers.

As far as the acid dipping goes, I dropped it of at the company that did the acid dipping and this is the acid dipping process that my frame went through; They bake the parts, then dip in hydrochloric acid, and then dip in neutralizer. The parts get several power washes. Last power wash is with zinc phosphate which will keep flash rust off the parts for several weeks. The powdercoating company works with this company also, so they picked it up from them and did the powdercoating for me. I just dropped it off at the one place and picked it up from the powdercoat company after it was finished.
