That's the same way mine mounts. Is that a modified Eckler Hood or a Molded Stock Hood? I'm baffled. Great potential there!

Default Custom C'3s

Alright guys, you posted that you wanted to see some really custom C3's so here is a link to two different build pages that are going on at Heartland Customs. The STINGRAY is a very custom design for a guy that likes the retro look and the MENACE is the most modernized high end C3 ever built! Both have SPECVETTE chassis that give them new Corvette performance, and supercharged LS drivetrains that will give them modern Corvette reliability and economy while giving them massive power with 700hp and 860hp respectively. I will be glad to answer any questions that you have on either build or any other Corvettes that we are building or have built. Shoot!

Ecklers claims its not one of theirs but its one piece moulded. The plan it to blend the fenders so it tilts everything right to the doors and modify the L88 to a lower profile and possibly extend it over the wiper door but still allow the door to function.

Heartland ... Nice!

Looks like a great project to start with.

Do you have any backside picks of the nose how the front bumper mounts?

The bumper is ornamental in this case, it bolts directly through the glass and uses wide washers and lock nuts on the inside to secure it in place. I plan to fashion a reinforcement bar to run behind it, supported off the frame it will protect the rad in case of front collision ... heaven forbid.

Thanks, on mine I am wanting to move the bumper in closer on the sides, by cutting a section out of both sides. Then have it re chromed.

Not a whole lot done to mine except for this 3rd brake light. It's from a c6 that I got for nothing. molded it into a trueflex bumper cover.

Also eliminated the side marker lights.

Had this shifter handle laying around for years and finally decided to put it to good use.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us[/IMG]

Not anything special here, but it does run REAL good.

No they were corvettes at the place the day I picked mine up, funny you mention that as I saw those cars when I responded to the add and found out he was a private dealer. The farthest one away is a 73 black it was in better condition than mine and the other was a grey 81 also in good condition.
