I didn't even realize this was a necro thread until the last page.
Anyway, just because the tranny was whining doesn't necessarily mean it was an M22. I just pulled an M20 that was whining like crazy. A mechanic friend of mine thought it was an M22 but it was just worn out. There was a reason you changed it. It was probably just a worn out M21. Was it making metal?
I guess it doesn't matter now but I'm just curious since I spent all day replacing mine with a tko500. What a job that was!

Ed must be about same year we purchased ours as well, thanks for posting. I'm sure we have some old photos we can dig up.

Ah, but as is commonly known, roofs are vastly over-rated.

Phil, that is awesome!
It's been what over 2 years since we last heard from you!
"You got a lot of 'splaining to do Lucy"...
You really do need to fill us in on what's been going on for the past two years, obviously quite a lot!
Good luck...

Original frame was junk - so we swapped everything over to a sound chassis, should be all back together to hit the road in a few months. Looking forward to driving it again, probably been 30 years.

Car is now complete - very nice but expensive, but hell it's only money.

LOL, go ahead, rub it in! Mine hasn't progressed a wee tiny bit, still waiting on a starter motor!!!
The Caddy has to leave, first. No starter, it doesn't leave.
