Default Differences in 80-82 Differentials

I have a 81 4 speed car, it has the 2.72 gears. I have a Doug Nash 5 speed in it & have found a few 3.07 differentials from automatics. So a few questions;

1) Are the auto & the manual housings the same?

2) Are both auto & manual differentials "Dana 44"?

3) Are all 82 stub axles the same as 80-82 manual stub axles?

4) Are there differences in the Front Yoke between autos & manuals?

5) Any other differences that would sacrifice strength by using a rear from a auto?

This information seems to be tough to find. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

everything is the same except for the yoke and stub axles, because the manual uses bigger u joints. you should be able to swap over your original ones though

Thank you very much for the reply. I actually found a complete 80 3.07 manual diff for $400, so I bought it. I like having complete extras. Thanks!
