Help me identify this jack

I found this jack in my 71 Corvette. I know it's not correct for my car. It looks like it's dated Dec 68. The question is that the top isn't correct for it. I wanted to know if anyone knows more about it.

It looks like the 64-70 Mustang/Cougar scissor jack. Those are very similar to the Corvette jacks, and may have even been made by the same company?????

I think you on to it there. I just looked up 67-68 Mustang and the jack matches. I couldn't figure it out for the life of me..

Yeah your right. I was thinking to myself that it's for a 68 and wrote that the jack is a 68..
