Picking up a hardtop for my C3 tomorrow and I need to know if it will fit in the back of my pickup. Truck has a hard cover over the bed so all I have is the bed depth for clearance. Pretty sure it will fit but helps to know for sure. Travel distance will be about 300 miles so I need the top closed on this journey.
Thanks to all,
Norm
OK, I need to be on the road by 3AM, so someone please pause the football game, take your tape measure out to the garage and give me a number from top of rear deck to top of your roof, if you have a vert with a hardtop.
Thanks to all,
Norm
I have a Chevy 1500 Silverado with a Roll-Top cover (+ the thick rubber carpet) and i put the HardTop upside down on a blanket without no problems at all under the Roll-Top cover.
Thanks to all, it did fit but was tight around the inner fender wells in my bed. Yes, putting it upside down would work better but I was afraid of damaging the new paint job.
Thanks again,
Norm

Glad you got the transport sorted out. That is a real problem with these units.
Many people do not like them but I have never regretted buying one a year ago. It is a very nice accessory. It is on my car during the winter storage but only perhaps four weeks during the driving season. Nevertheless a very nice addition to have.
