I flushed the radiator in my 1980 and discovered it was leaking. Bars leaks temporarily fixed it but needs some opinions. Should I remove it and see if a radiator shop can fix it or just order a Dewitts??? I have see the Dewitts and they look like an excellent quality radiator. I am leaning toward the Dewitts......
I need to replace my 79's radiator as well, but which one??? I would like to keep the money in check because my mechanic is putting it in and I only want to do it once. I want to spend $300.00 to $400.00 on one copper and brass would work and aluminum would be nice. I priced the re-core and its as much as a new one.

Get the dewitts, best there is. Not cheapest option but will last forever.
Quality matters , I stuck with a good oem replacement because the first rad was in the car 30 years , remember on the 1980 air flow is not an issue so your not going to overheat and you should already know this if you have had the car a while.
