I'm not going to say anything is right or wrong because I'm no expert. But upon closer inspection and turning the photo right side up, the number 6 in the date code stamp doesn't quite look right. Also the number 1 in looks more like an I.
Not to mention it is dated the same day as the trim tag.
These are just my observations.
The 6 is okay. It shows up in other stamps. Using an alpha I in place of a numeric 1 is also normal. I agree on the dates, but we may be talking about two different cars.

I just saw this and want to let you know of a scam in the Albany area (and several other areas via Craigslist) involving LT-1 parts as well as complete cars.
I have reported it in the transaction section of the forum. Since I reported what happened to me I have identified 5 other people that have been scammed by the same person and we are making headway on taking care of him.
If the person selling this is in any way attached to a guy named Dave Young and/or has a southern California phone number do NOT proceed.
