Generalizing names
Hey guys,
A few people and I were trying to come up with all the different terms used to describe car guys and I wanted to see what you guys could add to the list. Also, are their any names that are specific to corvette enthusiasts?
(NOTE: I will update the list as people respond to have them all at the top.)

Piston Head. He was the cool gearhead in my neighborhood growing up, and the term stuck in our area. His son does some good work too, for a young cat.

Here car buffs are often described as "petrolheads" a bit meaningless in the states I guess "gashead" doesn't have the same ring to it.
My car was described as a hairdresser car recently by a motorcycle rider I know.
"Autophile" or "dash stroker" the curves of the C3 could turn you into one of these LOL.

I'm getting some much-needed assistance from my grand-daughter concerning my '34 pick-up project several years ago....(this isn't a photo-op----she installed the headers/bolts (I torqued them though...LOL)
