The National Weather Service has just upgraded our "winter storm warning" here in Western New York to a "BLIZZARD"! I'm going to sit in my warm chair tonight and look at all the pictures of you guys in the warmer climes enjoying your rides. We're expecting 2-3' of snow in the next 24 hours. Unfortunately, my '72 probably won't come out of storage until at least the middle of April. At least I still have my Polaris ATV to get around for a while. Stay warm everyone!

Alaska here ... Not that I'm rubbing it in 'caue my Vette ain't going out anyway, but it's 37 degrees (that's above 0) and slushy... and raining... and dark. Anchorage was 35 above - Fairbanks has about 15..... I think someone flipped the flop or flopped the flip!
I'm looking forward to taking it our tomorrow as it's going to dip down into forties! I'm looking forward to seeing how 'frisky' she is in colder weather.
Stay warm.
Not to worry Duanne, us boys that live on the Great Lakes are used to this crap every year. Just another day in paradise, pour yourself a stiff one, turn on the hockey game and enjoy a cosy night in front of the fire.
we just got pounded here....close to 2 feet in a lot of places, I would say there was 18 inches near me and temps were 0 with wind chill being well below 0
Even Pensacola Florida (NW Fl Panhandle) is expected to get down to 14* with 20mph northerly winds tonight. It's a far cry from minus anything, but to us, it's still cold. I hope everyone stay's safe.

63 degrees today in NorCal. I know; rubbing it in. But, at least you guys will have water next year while we here on the Left Coast are dehydrated skinbags crawling through the desert.
Red is in a heated garage and kept around 55-60 in the winter. Today here we had a high of -13 and midnight tonight will be -19 with -40 windchill. Sitting in the family room with a nice fire burning and consuming gin & tonics. Cruise season here in Minnesota isn't that long. Even in summer there is a lot of thunderstorm activity so that cuts into cruise time. In the first 20 years we owned Red it saw around 2500 miles. Now that I am semi retired (self employed hobby business) that will change.
Hang in there to all of us that have weather woes. I have a customer in Australia that emailed me yesterday complaining of heat... it was 115 F there.....

You guys East of the Great Lakes get tremendous amounts of lake effect snow. I don't know how you can stand it. We are a balmy 12 degrees on Cape Cod but the winds are blowing close to 50 mph. We had our blizzard last week but only got 15 inches of snow.
