Not every Corvette needs to be restored/repaired! There is something cool about seeing a car in the bushes.....In a way. The majority of Corvettes get loved like no other car - Some didn't. Enjoy them all, despite what "state" they are currently in

When people have little to no money invested in their planters they have no need to sell unless its really big money offered, which never happens.

Look at it this way....at least we know that more projects are out there somewhere...
Check these out, none are for sale.
These cars are (in order)
1954
1956
1956
1957
1953
The 1953 Corvette was sold and recently restored to show quality. The others are still sitting there.

15 plus years ago I found a 69 427, 4speed , side pipe , with classic cragars hiding in a barn near my girlfriend now wifes house. I must have made 25 trips over there to inquire about it . I never got anyone to come to the door . Then one day as we were stalking it the lady was mowing the grass . I stopped and asked her about it because it was now out of the barn . during our conversation she told me that I had stopped many times before....... and that the car was out of the barn because the barn was scheduled to be torn down. It was her brothers car and I contacted the brother promptly just to hear it wasn't for sale because his daughter was going to drive it eventually. It sat outside another year or so after the barn was taken down . I continued to stop and ask the lady to talk to her brother for me so I could buy the car. On the last stop I made there she told me her work schedule and that If it came up missing she wouldn't mind one bit .....
I certainly wasn't gonna take the car but it sure did cross my mind more than once !!

Burning Brakes
My '69 as it was when I got it almost two years ago. It belonged to a long time friend who'd passed away. His wife gave me the car to put back together. Hasn't been driven since the mid-eighties.
