Hey Bill, was thinking about Hawaii's safety inspection this morning as a matter of fact and was trying to remember if emergency flashers was one of the checks, I haven't been able to get mine working but Texas doesn't require them for a safety on classic cars.
Thanks, and nice looking ride. I'm on Oahu, and agree, shipping is a way expensive on anything more than 15 lbs.
Mike
Mr Jlr,
Thanks, hoping to complete the break-in this week.
Mike
Diehard,
Y'up.
AirborneSilva, Iokepakai,
Thanks, hope I don't have problems with the safety check. Exterior looks stock, and sound wise it's not too loud.

After your top end build, you'll need an OD trans! Do the hot cars still hang at Sandy beach,Friday & Saturday nights?
Will be posting up some pics from our clubs winter cruise in....

Thanks for the heads up, know a couple of safety check shops, but was before the new system. I know one shop good; will ask if can pass before going official.
Sandy beach slowed down after patrol figured out nice straight pass. Easy pickings for the new BMW solo bikes.
Look forward to your pics, used to belong to the Corvette Club (when I had my 75). Will probably rejoin and find out where everybody hangs.
Your right on the OD, went out to the Windward side today; at 60 MPH revs over 2,500. Glad owning a Vette not expensive, ha ha ha
Mike
So they got BMW's now....
OD totally worth it,money well spent.Got a 6spd Richmond in my vette, really enhances the driving experience....Always liked that color combo on the 78's...Classic.!...Luv cruising the windward side up to the north shore...Of course that was 30 yrs ago
