I am new to the forum and to corvette repair/restoration. During the past few months many questions have been answered by people on this forum and I can't tell you how much it is appreciated.
My son and I are working on bringing a 73 convertible back to life and it has not been a "problem free" experience. Reading posts by Dub, Alan 71, Lars, Doorgunner, Willcox, Allc34me, and many others have helped to solve some of these problems.
Since I am an "old dog" and not very computer savvy, I don't post very often and haven't as yet figured out how to post pictures. However we are learning more about the forum and its features every day and hopefully will soon be able to help fellow members by sharing our problems and experiences.
Again, Thank You very much for providing such a great forum.

Anything that you learned from me.....I learned from reading posts by Dub, Alan 71, Lars, Willcox, Allc34me, and many others......
Yep this forum is the Shiznitz and the fashizzle. When I bought my 69 in 2007, I was apprehensive to do a lot of things on it for fear of screwing something up (not to say I still don't do that) and making expensive mistakes. I accidentally stumbled across this forum when searching how to do a simple (cough cough) restoration. After finding this place, I have been on it almost daily and not only for things that I need but also just to shoot the sh&* with the folks I have been talking to since day one and to see what others are doing. I would venture to say that there isn't a task that hasn't been discussed on this forum. I love it here and will stay until Steve (Vettebuyer5869) locks me out.
Way to go, best of luck on the resto.
You've come to the right place for great advice that's for sure , I still know very little about my 73 in comparison to a lot of folks on this site but every day gaining a little more confidence in doing minor things.
Good luck and post up some pics.
The CF has taught many of us "how to" do many action items on these cars, from the relatively simple to the most complex. Lots of talented and nice people here willing to offer good info.
