Default Wow, Corvette Central is fast!

We ordered a couple of parts from them yesterday afternoon along with a new exhaust. Got the parts today (not the exhaust) around noon from Michigan to Central Illinois......I'm impressed!

Central Illinois? Me too.

I go back & forth between CC & Paragon, although I just got a terrific deal on carpet from Eckler.

They have become my #1 supplier. Most orders are at my West Coast location in 2 days.

I don't know how they got it here so fast but they definitely impressed me. I told my husband it was like they were hiding in the front bushes just waiting to jump out and ring our doorbell once our order was completed but then that sounded kind of creepy!

That would be correct! Not as cold today as they forcasted, so maybe Spring will be here by the weekend.

Hi,
I think the 'shipping zones' of the delivery service that the vendor uses has a lot to do with how quickly you get your package once it's shipped.
I'm in the same zone as ZIP Products, (but a different state); if I order by lunch time, and the part's in stock, I usually have the parts on my porch the next day.
It's amazing when things are working!
Regards,
Alan

I am partial to Zip, partially because like Alan, it is on my doorstep the next day.

I did order the left vertical ignition shielding from Corvette Central because someone gave me an amazon gift card, any they sell there as well. I figured it would be supplied by the same supplier that Zip uses. I found the part to be of inferior quality compared to the right vertical ignition shielding I received from Zip.

Just my observation.

I have also become a devoted fan of Corvette Central. A well laid out web site and very fast shipping even up to the Great White North!

Unfortunately the same level of customer service can't be had from one of the more popular forum sponsors. They keep charging me for UPS shipping then ship by standard USPS and the packages take a month!

I am a truck driver for Southeastern Freightlines. I can tell you that the competition between trucking companies is fierce ! All of your major trucking companies like us,(LTL-Less than truck load) pick up the freight and can deliver within approx. 600 miles the next day!! I wouldn't order anything from a company that takes longer. That just means they are not on top of their game. That being said, Corvette Central does do a good job, but I expect that, it is their job, and we pay 'em good money to do it.

Ditto on Corvette Central. I like they're service; I like they're catalogs. I also use Ecklers, Corvette America, Zip and Paragon. I just purchased a fresh air door seal and vacuum actuator from CC. I originally tried to order from Dr. Rebuild, but their order form was too convoluted.
