I was searching craigslist, looking too see what parts might be out there and came across this:
I believe it is a dealer poster, listing the features and options for '79. It is about 2' x 4' on heavy chip board. The edges are a little ratty and I need to do some work to get it flat again.
If I can get it flat and framed I think it should make pretty good Corvette wall art. What do you guys think?
I think it's a POS! You should very carefully package it up and send it to me! Ok, I love it, and now you've given me something else to search for in the way of literature for my 79.

Did you buy it then? It is pretty cool and would be a nice touch once framed, to display with the car at shows. If... you're into that sort of presentation. For sure, hanging in the Man Cave works.
Yep. While your daily driver was in the service garage, you were intended to wander around the showroom, see this display, and give thought to ordering a new Corvette. Your day was made if the dealership happened to have a new 79 sitting on the showroom floor.

Hi Mad,
That is a NICE find.
If you look carefully under the picture of the hub/disc/caliper it says in tiny print; "We're counting on you selling your 79 before the calipers start to leak"
Regards,
Alan
Yes I did buy it, I looked at it several times online and decided I couldn't pass it up. My wife and I are both designers, We really like signage and advertising materials. Stuff like this was never meant to stick around, it was obsolete (i.e. trash) as soon as the next model came out.
I am going to get it framed... I was going to put it in the garage, but now the wife is thinking of where to hang it in the house.

Alan, that's funny! I like the fact that it lists 'Sport four spoke steering wheel STANDARD' and all the pics are three spoke.
