I picked up my flares from the Bus Depot. Why is it that so many inbred mental retards congregate at the Bus Depot? What a cluster **** that was. But I got 'em and they are BITCHIN'
cool , please take some pics of your flairs and post them.
The flares are kinda thin so I think that my body man is going to cut the flares off of the 1/4 panel and use just those as the stock 1/4's are way stronger.
If I had ordered just the flare instead of the whole 1/4 panels I would have saved a little money.
So the moral of the story is to order just the flares and save yourself some money.

I am wondering if it would be cheaper/easier in the long run to just lay some more glass on inside of the flares. I don't know what your shop rate is there, but there is a lot of labor in getting the complex curves blended in compared to doing it along a flatter edge.
$.02.
This is going to a fun project to watch coming together. Keep the updates coming.

I'm not sure what he plans to do. He's a friend so it won't be too much money but he will do a great job either way. We might start in about two weeks when he has room in the shop.
