Installed a ZZ4 SB engine into my 68. I installed a BeCool BB radiator, one reason being that I don't use water in my coolant...just 100% ethylene glycol. No hose problem really. I bought some flexible corrigated metal radiator hose from Summit. Since I had installed a GM Performance Parts Catalog Serpentine kit in the 68, I needed the flexible hosing to fit to the intake manifold housing. As I remember, the lower radiator plumbing used standard rubber hoses.
A caveat. I used an aluminum Billet Specialities thermostat housing. I was before installation I noticed the Billet Specialities aluminum thermostat housing internal passage was way grossly constrained. I used a grinder and probably easily increased it's internal passage way by 100%. If I hadn't done that I'm sure I would have had a heating problem.
I get a lot of rubbish about using pure ethylene glycol. My 68 has not seen any water since ~1972. My DD 97 Tbird and my wife's 95 DD Cadillac Northstar engine all have 100% ethylene glycol. Both DD cars have not seen water since new. There's absolutely no water corrosion with pure ethylene glycol. My ZZ4 with a BB radiator on pure ethylene glycol runs colder than a witch's tit. It will not overheat in the occasional hot weather here. Al the WWII coolant cooled fighter plane engines used pure ethylene glycol coolant...no water. Works for me.

I wanted to PM you about the radiator, but I don't seem to have that option. How can I talk to you about this privately? Like everyone, I'm looking for a deal and I want the 1 1/4" tube core. Also, I may want a radiator with a waterneck vs using the surge tank.
Tom, I have decided to buy your 1 1/4" core radiator. Are you planning another CF group buy deal anytime soon? 15% off and free shipping would make it worth waiting for.
