Looks great. Did you paint or spray ? Are the silver color parts plated first than use Glisten PC?

All the 'silver' parts have brushed-on Glisten PC. It doesn't leave brush marks (you just have to keep it thinned with Xylene). The parts aren't plated, just wire wheeled and buffed. Trying to keep the metal natural looking.

What's a good way to line up the pins with the hood so it opens again?
Put aluminum foil on the latch openings and gently lower the hood until the pins come in contact with the latches. Raise the hood and move the latches using the contact indention's as a guide. Repeat until they are centered, easy as pie
