Default HELP! HOLLEY Guru Needed to ID This...

Found this carb in the garage tucked away. It came as a "throw-in" extra with the 1972 Vette I bought in 1999. I was told it was on the car. It's condition is unknown but looks to be in good cosmetic shape outside. Im having trouble identifying it.
Can anyone help with the details on this one? It's value?

It's a 600 CFM vacuum secondary dual feed carb that should have originally been silver in color. These came out in the early 90's and had mixed reaction from the customer I sold them too when I managed a Super Shops location. The big sell was the removeable top versus front and rear fuel bowls making jet changes clean.

Summit Racing was selling them for a while under their own name so there may still be some rebuild kits available. Someone dressed it up by painting the red parts.

Additionally, most of the tuning parts are compatable with the standard Holleys. The carb you have is a Holley remake of the old Ford Autolite carburetor from the 60's and 70's.

It could be fun to play around with but if I remember correctly those big annular boosters made for a strange enrichment curve.

Yeah they had mixed reviews for sure, but I always thought they were a nice looking carburetor. A friend ran a 750 version on his 11 to 1 350 M22 12 bolt S 10 and it was a monster - no problems with the carb ever.

Found reference to this on another site after some more digging;

I would like to sell it, in condition "unknown" what's it worth? How would someone find a rebuild kit for it?
Thanks guys!

Carb kit from Summit

http://www.summitracing.com/search/b...tor-model/4010

New carb is $279.90. I normally hope for half of the price of a new item when selling a used part in really good condition so I would say $75.00 for the carb knowing another $65 minimum for the kit and shipping brings it to about half the price new. Chances are $50 will be the offered price, just a guess anyway.
