Plenty of places for a C3 power steering systm to leak, including the contol valve, ram and the hoses. That's a very common problem on many of these, due to how old they are. Common solution is to rebuild the control valve, ram and replace all the lines.

OK, you have a leak. Clean of the possible places where the leak could be from, use a solvent to get rid of all oil/grease, start the car, and look to see where the leak is coming from. You may want to remove the left wheel to get good access and a good view.

Be aware that the P/S system is the lowest component in that area. It is very possible that the leak is coming from somewhere above and just ends up on the P/S parts. Examine the leak to determine what type of fluid it is.
