Default Wrong carb on 76 vett.

What is the difference between carb. on a manual transmission and auto.
transmission.
I have a L82 with a 4 speed, with a carb off 77 auto. transmission.

Besides some minor hardware differences on the throttle linkage, the jets and rods are likely a little different. Not sure if there is a difference in the pull-off dashpot, or not. Since your car and the carb are 1976 and later, the internal hardware should be essentially correct.

The carb should work fairly well 'as is' on your car. With some minor internal changes it could be tuned specifically for your engine.
