68 Dash Pad install
I'm in the process of putting the top dash pad back into car and I need some help. The windshield is out of the car. All of the lower parts of the dash are installed. The problem I'm having is the top pad is not able to go in between the windshield pillars. I might be able to force it, but am reluctant. Any suggestions?

It's easier when you install the upper dash pad first (it's like a jigsaw puzzle, correct order makes it easier). The new pieces are usually a tight (exact) fit. I used a heat gun to soften the new pieces for easier handling on my '69.

In addition to this, I think you need to remove the A pillar and header trim. The header trim trim doesn't really need to be out to get the upper dash pad in, however, it has to come out to get the pillar trim out.
